In ACT, we have developed a scalable mobile marketplace for sustainable grocery shopping, which will empower consumers to start shopping sustainably almost overnight with the ACT app, changing the direction of their combined purchasing power towards producers who respect the environment and treat their workers well.

What would be my role in ACT?
Develop and build applications for the Android platform
Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin code
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
Integration of user-facing elements developed with server-side logic
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
What skills do I need to accomplish this?
3+ years of experience building android mobile and/or web products including submitting previously approved products in the android market
TDD, CI, CD
Scrum-based development
Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Plus with experience in:
What apps can do and what can happen if they become life integrated tools
Android SDK (Software Development Kit) on different screen sizes, (different mobile and tablet sizes)
Offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Cloud message APIs and push notifications
